How we work
6 to 8 weeks, from the day you sign the final drawings and make the payment due at signing. Nothing before that day counts.
Those weeks cover execution and installation. The first design, the measuring and the final drawings come before that day, and they are not counted. Nothing is executed before you sign the final drawings.
Before day one
Not counted. At your pace, on your approvals.
- 01
Conversation and first design
Send us an AutoCAD file, provisional measurements or a photo of the room. An AutoCAD file or provisional measurements gives you a first idea of the price, and we draw the first design from it.
- 02
Measuring
When you approve and sign the first design, you make a first payment, and we come to measure the room ourselves. We bring the samples to that visit, and can show them even before the walls and floor are finished.
- 03
Final drawings and specification
We revise the design into the final drawings, with every detail, and name every material in your specification. Then we give you the full price, calculated from your final choices.
Day one: you sign the final drawings and make the payment due at signing.
Execution and installation
Counted from day one.
- 04
Execution
We execute the work to the final drawings.
- 05
Installation
We install the cabinets, and the appliances in them, and connect the appliances to the sockets. We install the hood and connect it to the duct your side has prepared. We install, connect and commission the lighting in our contract. When we supply them, we also install the sink and mixer, the countertop and the backsplash.
- 06
Handover and what comes after
We hand over the kitchen and take away all our cartons.
What we do, and what your contractor does
We do
- Draw the kitchen and the furniture.
- Install the appliances in the cabinets and connect them to the sockets.
- Install the hood and connect it to the duct, once your side has prepared the duct.
- Install the sink and mixer, when we supply them.
- Supply, install, connect and commission the lighting in our contract.
- Supply and install the countertop and backsplash, when you take them from us.
- Take away all our cartons.
Your contractor does
- Removes the old kitchen.
- Connects all plumbing, including the sink and mixer to the drain.
- Supervises the gas work. A gas company installs and connects the gas. We never connect gas.
- Lays plain tiles and ceramics.
Everything in our contract is ours to answer for. Anything outside our contract stays with you or your contractor.
